Standard Shipping Rates

The following flat shipping rate information applies to shipments within the continental USA. For other areas, please scroll down below for details.

ALL GOODS- from our Oregon Warehouse- 1 to 5 days

For order values (excluding shipping) over $125, shipping is FREE.

For orders values (excluding shipping) over $49 but less than $125, shipping is $6.50.

otherwise shipping is $8.95 per order.

Important Note:
In some rare instances, typically when an order is a majority of heavy glass or other heavy bulk items, and shipping to a far away zone (we are based in Oregon), we will need to adjust the shipping cost in order to make sure we are not losing money on the order. In this event, we will put your order on hold and email you to get your approval. You will have the option to approve the added cost (at which time we will charge your card this additional amount) or to cancel for a full refund. In no event will we charge your card more without approval. We are a small company, and we appreciate your understanding in the event this happens.

Shipping Methods

We currently use the US Postal Service and FedEx for our shipping. We try to get the order to you as fast as possible, so in most cases your order will be sent via USPS Priority Mail, which is a 2 Day delivery to most locations. For some larger orders we will need to send it via FedEx due to excessive volume. You will always know which service was used when you recieve your tracking notice and will be given a link to check on the scheduled delivery.

Destinations other than Continental USA

note: At this time, we can not ship international orders except as follows:

Orders for Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO/DPO and US Territories ship via USPS flat rate box ($16-$20 depending on the box size). These shipments are not eligible for free shipping and can only contain dry goods. If you place perishable live cultured foods in your cart and attempt to check out with an overseas address, you will be asked to either delete these items or change your shipping address selection. However, we can accept perishable containing packages to Alaska and Hawaii if the content of the perishable items is not excessive.

When you check out, we will pre-authorize your card for the goods total including a $20 shipping fee for a large flat rate box. When we pack your order, if we can fit all of your items into a medium size box, we will reduce your shipping charge to $16. Your card will not be charged until the final amount is determined, and you will get a 2nd email notice showing the final charges. In the event that we need to ship two boxes or there is some other issue, we will notify you first via email to explain and get your approval before charging any more than $20.

Delivery Times

Orders are fulfilled within 24 hours and delivered within 1-5 business days
Delivery Area USA (all states and territories), APO/FPO/DPO
Exceptions Cannot deliver cultured/fermented products and other perishables to US Territories and APO/FPO/DPO.

Please allow extra processing time for orders outside of the USA (usually 6-10 business days from shipment).

Please Note: Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Orders placed before 4 p.m. Eastern Time will be shipped on the day they're received, except in cases where the order contains perishable products and is undeliverable within five consecutive calendar days from it's placement. In such cases, orders will normally arrive no later than the following Saturday from the date the order was placed. Deliverable days vary per service. Delivery times vary by destination.
