The equipment used in their production process meets all applicable USDA and FDA specifications and requirements. Product labeling meets all current USDA, FDA, and Organic Standards. Lakewood Organic products are Certified Organic, meaning that they are grown and harvested in accordance with the USDA National Organic Program. Their organic juices are produced without the use of synthetically compounded fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or growth regulators.
No Preservatives
None of their juices or aloe products contain preservatives -- "never had preservatives -- never will". Lakewood does not and never has used preservatives in any of their juices. In fact, Lakewood pioneered the modern bottling technique of adding lemon juice to pure aloe. This technique protects the integrity of the aloe while retaining the maximum amount of natural polysaccharides… without using any preservatives.
